A small percentage of my practice consists of treating individuals with Medicaid and Healthchoice coverage.
I am an in-network provider for CBHA and BCBS.
Out-of-network behavioral health--choosing the therapist who is right for your family.
I do not participate in any other health insurance panels, and therefore I am considered an out-of-network provider. There are many benefits to treatment outside the confines of managed care, and the most important one is the right to choose the therapist who is a good fit for you and your family.
Most insurances will reimburse you a certain percentage of the fees I charge for sessions. Payment is due at the time of service. I will provide you with a detailed receipt including all the necessary information you will need to submit to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement.
Questions to ask your insurance provider:
1) May I seek services with a therapist who is an out-of-network behavioral health provider? If so, at what percentage will I be reimbursed?
2) Is there a deductible I must meet before I will be reimbursed?
3) How many visits am I (or is my adolescent) allowed per calendar year?
4) Will you reimburse for individual and family therapy?
